Terminals

Open one with the Terminal button or Ctrl + `. Up to 8, three side by side. They open instantly — dependencies are installed only when a command needs them.

The runtime's shell is small, so KODEO adds a toolbox of 76 commands: grep, sed, awk, find, xargs, tar, zip, curl-style helpers and more. code file.js opens a file in the editor.

Python

python3 script.py runs Python (via Pyodide), and pip install works for pure-Python packages. Servers that need real network sockets (like FastAPI with uvicorn) can't run in the browser.

Command history

Ctrl + R searches your previous commands in this project — private to you, on every device.

Sharing a terminal

Everything a terminal prints is shared live with teammates in the project (secrets that look like tokens are masked first; nothing is stored). Teammates can ask for control to type in your terminal — you choose Allow or Decline, and can take it back any time.
